Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 15, 2026 · Version 2026-08-15

This Privacy Policy explains how Revival Solar (“Revival Solar,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Revival Solar Customer Portal website and mobile app (together, the “Service”). The Service lets you connect your solar system, see how it’s producing, receive alerts and reports, and request help. By using the Service you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

  • Account information. When you create an account we collect your name and email address. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your basic profile and email with us. Authentication is handled by our login provider (Clerk); we do not store your password.
  • Service and property information. The service address you provide so we can match you to your Revival Solar customer record, your service plan, and notes related to your solar system and any work we’ve done.
  • Solar monitoring connection. To show your production we need access to your solar monitoring account. Depending on the platform, that is either a username and password you enter, or a secure authorization you grant (for example, Tesla or Enphase sign-in). Any stored monitoring credentials are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM.
  • System production data. Energy production readings, device status, and fault information we retrieve from your connected solar platform, including a daily history we keep to detect underperformance.
  • Billing information. Paid plans are processed by Stripe. Stripe handles your card details directly; we store only your subscription status and plan, not your full card number.
  • Support requests. Messages and details you submit through “Report an Issue.”
  • Mobile app data. If you enable notifications, we store a push notification token so we can send alerts to your device. We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or browsing on other apps.

How we use your information

  • Monitor your solar system and show you its production and status.
  • Send you alerts, performance reports, and service notifications by email and, if enabled, push notification.
  • Match your account to your Revival Solar customer record and provide support.
  • Process and manage your subscription.
  • Maintain the security and reliability of the Service.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service, and only as needed:

  • Clerk — account sign-in and authentication.
  • Stripe — subscription payments.
  • Neon — secure database hosting.
  • Vercel — application hosting.
  • Resend — sending alert, report, and support emails.
  • Method CRM — our customer-records system.
  • Apple and Google — delivering push notifications to the mobile app.
  • Your solar monitoring platform — whichever one you connect (Hoymiles, APsystems, Tesla, SolarEdge, Enphase, SMA, Generac, or FranklinWH). We contact it on your behalf to retrieve your production data.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our customers or Revival Solar.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as you have an account, so we can provide the Service. Specifically:

  • Account and profile. Kept while your account is open; deleted immediately when you delete your account.
  • Monitoring credentials. Deleted as soon as you disconnect that platform, or when you delete your account.
  • Production history, snapshots, and alerts. Kept while your account is open so we can spot underperformance over time; deleted when you delete your account.
  • Support requests. Deleted with your account. A copy of a request that was turned into a work order may remain in our internal customer-records system as a service record.
  • Billing and transaction records. Kept as long as tax, accounting, and other law requires, then deleted. Stripe retains payment records under its own policy.
  • Backups. Overwritten on a rolling basis; residual copies are purged within 90 days of deletion.

Deleting your account and your data

You can delete your account and personal data yourself, at any time. Sign in and go to Account → Delete account in the portal or the mobile app. Deletion is permanent and immediate: it removes your profile, monitoring connections and stored credentials, production history, alerts, support requests, push-notification tokens, and your sign-in identity.

If you can’t sign in, email Help@SolarRevival.com from your account email address, or call (541) 500-6260, and we will complete the deletion within 30 days. Full details are on the Delete Your Account page.

Deleting your portal account cancels any paid portal plan immediately. It does not cancel a Care Plan, warranty, installation contract, or service agreement you hold with Revival Solar directly, and it does not delete your account with your solar manufacturer — those are separate and you would need to contact us or them.

Security

Connections to the Service use encryption in transit (HTTPS). Stored solar monitoring credentials are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Your choices and rights

You can, at any time:

  • Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct anything that’s wrong — email us, or update your profile.
  • Delete your account and personal data yourself from Account → Delete account, as described above.
  • Disconnect any linked solar platform from the dashboard.
  • Turn off push notifications in your device settings.
  • Manage or cancel your subscription from the billing section.

To make an access or correction request, email Help@SolarRevival.com from your account email address so we can verify it’s you. We respond within 45 days. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

Oregon residents. The Oregon Consumer Privacy Act gives Oregonians rights to confirm, access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of their personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale of personal data, and certain profiling. Revival Solar is below the thresholds that make that law mandatory for us, but we honor those requests anyway using the process above. We do not sell personal data, we do not use it for targeted advertising, and we do not use it for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. If you believe we mishandled a request, you may contact the Oregon Department of Justice.

Children

The Service is intended for solar system owners and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for significant changes, notify you through the Service.
